Annapolis faces unique challenges as a coastal city vulnerable to flooding and environmental change. I will prioritize sustainable development, stronger infrastructure, and expanded transportation options like safe bike lanes, pedestrian access, and cleaner public transit. By investing in resiliency today, we protect our homes, businesses, and quality of life for generations to come.
The cost of living in Annapolis continues to rise, with housing, property taxes, and assessments burdening residents. I will work to bring forward solutions from other historic cities that generate revenue outside of taxes and parking fees. I will also support zoning reforms and creative housing strategies, such as converting vacant commercial properties into residential units, to increase affordable and “missing middle” housing so families can stay and grow in our community.
Every resident deserves efficient, reliable city services. From trash collection to permitting, residents must be able to navigate local government without frustration. I will strengthen communication and collaboration between City Departments and the community, ensuring residents, businesses, and visitors can access services with transparency and ease. Improving accessibility also means expanding safe and inclusive transportation options across the city. I oppose anything that limits public access to our natural resources and services.
Annapolitans deserve leadership that is transparent, solution-driven, and committed to fairness. I will review outdated codes and legislation that no longer serve our city, eliminate inefficiencies, and advocate for practical policies that reflect today’s needs. With six years of experience working alongside City Departments, I know the importance of accountability in government and pledge to use that experience to ensure City Hall works for the people of Annapolis. .
